1. Cheap Floormats are Wasteful
When your cheap floormat quickly looks bad or falls apart, you will need to replace it. Don’t add floormats to the landfills when a better quality floormat, sells, will last longer and not result in rubbish as frequently. Buy floormats that are fairly priced but will last.
2. Cheap Floormats Might Be Dangerous
When a floormat is cheap, and the price is too good to be true, then it is probably made with subpar materials. These could even be hazardous to your health in some cases. They may also warp and stick up, causing falls. Heavy, better quality and better materials mean you can feel safer about the floormats you have purchased.
3. Fraud
If you buy anything from a cheap source online, and it is not obviously a well-established business, you run the risk of fraud. If the price is too good to be true, maybe they just want your personal information and credit card number. Always make sure you are buying from an established business.
4. NOT WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get)
When the price of a floormat is so low it seems too good to be true, you might not be buying what you see in the picture. The size may be different. The materials may be different. The colours may be off. This is often referred to as bait-and-switch. If you buy a high-quality floormat, you are getting name-brand floormats that are exactly what you ordered.
